I dabbled
in songwriting for many years but couldn't quite get the hang of it.
Finally I got my first 4-track recorder and
started laying down different tracks, bouncing and
over-dubbing....now I get it!!!
 
I
upgraded my recording equipment and began
using
Cakewalk computer software,
midi
and ADAT's. Here are some tunes recorded during that period.
I plan on re-recording all the tunes on this page and
comparing the old to the new.

I do all my recording on
computer, (PC) now. I am using Sonar 5
Producer edition. The sound quality is so much
better now that it would be a shame not to
re-record all the old tunes. I don't
really like going backwards and would much rather work on new
ideas and material. It will be fun
to go back and re-do the old stuff and see how I've changed as an
artist and a producer. I hope to share the
experience with you!
